This is a beautifully executed upscaled version of the well known Estes Interceptor in a very well designed kit. This kit has a lot of high quality parts such as a thick MMT tube and BT's, quality molded plastic parts, nylon chute, etc. and is fairly easy to build by intermediate level modelers. However, the decals included with my particular kit were a total nightmare to apply. They were very thin and tore very easily. This issue has since been resolved by Estes.
Unfortunately the finished rocket is quite heavy and the recommended E9-4 motor might not have enough ommmppphhhh to fly this model adequately.
Fortunately this is an easy fix. Pair this model up with an Aerotech RMS 24/40 E18-4W or even better yet, an F24-4W reload and enjoy. Or go for broke and fly this on an Aerotech RMS 24/60 F35-5W reload and let 'er fly!!!
