Fun ball and bat!! My 8 year old loved it - but make sure to play in a large enough space as it really does go much further than traditional bats and balls. He liked the loud sound when the bat connects with the ball - even if the child doesn't hit it perfectly, it goes far. Only problem is the ball split the first time and we haven't found other balls that work as well as the ball it came with. Amazon does not sell replacement balls. I contacted Marky Sparky and will update if I hear back from them.----UPDATE----within hours of contacting them they responded and offered free replacement balls. Very impressed and boys will be excited to use the bat again.
