Product Description

This unique launch controller features the Key-Eject safety key ejection system. When armed, the Interlock emits a warning tone to alert spectators that the rocket is about the be launched. Bright graphics on the flip-open cover clearly signal the location of the launch control. Igniter clip, batter clips and 40 feet of power cord, to be attached to a 12-volt power source (not included), complete the controller system.

Easy to assemble, but takes a little finesse and attention to detail. Quality components, requires plastic model glue or CA and a #1 Phillips head screwdriver to assemble. In addition, attaching the battery clips and the igniter clips can be crimped with needle nose pliers but it is a better assembly if soldered. I noticed that the pre-stripped wire ends had cut strands so I trimmed and stripped the wires to make better terminations. I have been flying model and high power rockets for decades. I got this launch controller because I packed away my home made system for a move and had no interest in making another one or digging up the old one. This launch controller is very nice paired with a 12V LiFePO4 I also bought. Together they make copperhead igniters work very nicely, which this system is made for.
